Restart your Device.
A lot of problems can be easily resolved by simply restarting your iPhone or iPod touch.
To restart iPhone, first turn iPhone off by pressing and holding the Sleep/Wake button until a red slider appears.
Slide your finger across the slider and iPhone will turn off after a few moments.
Next, turn iPhone on by pressing and holding the Sleep/Wake button until the Apple logo appears.
Re-download and Reinstall the Application.
If restarting doesn’t help, you may want to try re-downloading the application and installing it again.
Another possibility is having corrupt data and a new install could fix that.
My business is missing in AroundMe
AroundMe uses Google Maps data to retrieve local contents. You can easily add (or modify) your business to
the Google Maps database following this link:
http://google.com/local/add
Modify or remove business appearing in AroundMe
You should search the business in
Google Maps then click "Edit" or "Remove".
Business that has been edited by the owner can not be modified or removed.
Required iPhone OS version
AroundMe require iOS 4.2.x or later.
Augmented Reality is not working
To activate the Augmented Reality select a category and,
as soon as the results will appear, turn your iPhone landscape.
Augmented Reality requires the iPhone 3GS or 4: it is not be available on iPhone 2G, iPhone 3G or iPod Touch.
Compass is not visible
The compass requires the iPhone 3GS or 4: it is not be available on iPhone 2G, iPhone 3G or iPod Touch.
Does AroundMe works with iPod Touch?
AroundMe needs an internet connection to retrieve local results so with the iPod Touch a Wi-Fi connection is required.
The iPod touch provides your approximate location using information based on your proximity to known Wi-Fi
networks but the feature is not available in all areas. Known Wi-Fi networks are predominantly in urban areas.
If your location is not found automatically tapping the world icon at bottom left of the main screen will allow
you to specify the City or ZIP code.
